Dr. Ross Caputo
Dr. Ross Caputo earned his Ph.D. in Microbiological Physiology and Immunology from Miami University and brings over 30 years of expertise in the FDA-regulated pharmaceutical industry. His work has focused on sterilization research, aseptic processing, and process optimization and control.
With extensive experience as CEO in various corporations, Dr. Caputo is an outstanding leader dedicated to both patient and product safety. He holds 15 patents, has authored over 50 publications related to infection control and sterilization, and is a recognized expert in the field.
Throughout his career, he has been an active contributor to organizations like AAMI/ISO and PDA, shaping industry standards and ensuring the highest levels of safety in sterile product manufacturing.
Lisa Johnson
With over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Lisa is recognized for her exceptional customer service and strong interpersonal skills in building lasting customer relationships. She specializes in strategic vision, service-oriented approach, and exceptional leadership skills. She excels at building and nurturing key relationships, driving revenue growth while aligning business strategies with overall company goals. Lisa is adept at overseeing marketing and commercial strategies that enhance brand visibility, market share, and patient engagement across multiple markets. As a results-driven leader, Lisa is committed to fostering innovation, collaboration, and long-term success at every level of the organization.
Dr. Jay Patel
Jay Patel is a dynamic leader with over 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Currently serving as the Vice President of Analytical Sciences at Eagle Analytical Services, LLC in Houston, Texas, Jay has a proven track record of mentoring and managing teams of scientists to drive projects efficiently, ensuring client timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met. Jay's leadership and expertise have been instrumental in representing Eagle Analytical at various events and conferences, providing technical and regulatory insights during discussions, and showcasing the company's capabilities to potential clients. Jay's ability to build and lead high-performing teams has been a key factor in driving the company's growth and success in the competitive pharmaceutical industry.
Jay holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Medicinal Chemistry) from St. John's University, New York, and has extensive hands-on experience in analytical and bio-analytical method development, optimization, and validation using advanced instrumental techniques in a cGMP environment.
Jay's professional journey includes significant roles such as Director of Analytical Sciences, Director of Chemistry, and Manager of Research & Development and Quality Control at Eagle Analytical Services, LLC, and Woodfield Pharmaceutical, LLC. Jay has also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Fordham University and an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at St. John’s University. Jay is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Chemical Society (ACS), the American Association of Cancer Research (AACR), and the American Association of Pharmaceutical Society (AAPS).
Samanta Mota
As a Business Development Specialist at Eagle Analytical, Samantha focuses on internal marketing and supporting clients with their sterility testing needs. Samantha has previous experience in biomedical research, studying pain, neuroscience, cancer, and degenerative diseases. During her scientific training, Samantha specialized in fruit fly genetics and conducted experimental research using model organisms such as mice and fruit flies, developing strong skills in experimental design and data analysis. Through her scientific training, she developed a passion for designing experiments, analyzing data, and communicating her work at conferences. She now leverages this background to help clients navigate testing requirements and regulatory standards to support patient safety.
Meichen Liu
Meichen Liu earned her MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and joined Eagle in 2025. With 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, she has broad cross-functional experience spanning R&D, quality control, analytical chemistry, and business strategy. As Business Development Manager, Meichen serves as the key bridge between Eagle and clients, aligning technical capabilities with business objectives. Leveraging both technical depth and business acumen, Meichen builds client partnerships by deeply understanding client needs, and delivering practical, value-driven business solutions that help clients achieve their goals.
Lynette Lugo
Lynette joined our Business Development team in 2024 and has over 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical compounding field. She offers extensive knowledge of sterile and non-sterile compounding, coupled with a strong background in marketing and sales for independent compounding pharmacies across California. Previously, she served as a Territory Manager for multiple states with PCCA where she enjoyed fostering relationships and driving growth. She is an active member of the California Pharmacists Association and the Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding and is passionate about protecting safe access to personalized medicine.
